Marketing Intern

Location: Frederick, Maryland, United States; office-based role

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

JLG, an Oshkosh company, develops access equipment, training, and support solutions for the construction and access industry, including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories.

What you will do

• Review and edit marketing communications materials.
• Support planning and execution of exhibits, trade shows, and special events.
• Maintain and update website and social media channels.
• Support marketing campaign execution across product management, aftermarket, website, and social media functions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify consumer trends.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related major throughout the entire internship.
• Experience with PC and Mac platforms, Microsoft Office, Excel, and web management tools.
• Experience with social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment and involves extended computer and telephone use.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or InDesign.
• Interest in product marketing.
