Graphic Production Support Technician

Location: Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, Washington, DC; core hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. Remote work may be authorized by the Government.

hirify.global provides graphic production and visual communications support to the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Property, Printing, and Distribution Branch.

What you will do

• Produce flyers, infographics, forms, charts, presentations, publications, templates, and other print and digital materials.
• Apply established templates, typography, branding, color systems, and document structures to new content.
• Prepare print-ready and digital-ready files and perform preflight checks for fonts, links, color modes, image resolution, and other production requirements.
• Package Adobe InDesign files and supporting assets for production, handoff, and archiving.
• Maintain templates, continuity files, digital asset libraries, project archives, naming conventions, and folder structures.
• Apply basic Section 508 accessibility tagging and provide production updates to senior designers and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education, training, or professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, publication design, or a related field.
• Experience creating and formatting print and digital graphic design products, including document layout, typography, templates, and file preparation.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Knowledge of print production and file preflight processes; ability to follow established style, formatting, quality, and accessibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with basic Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Experience in a federal government, public-sector, legal, association, or similarly structured communications environment.
