Summer 2027 Internship - DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) - 30229

Location: Hybrid in Grapevine, Texas, United States, with an average of 1–2 days per week onsite at the office

Salary: $22.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain distributed computing systems and configuration-management automation.
• Write Python and Bash scripts for automation and product feature development.
• Manage and update big data systems automation and cloud tooling.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide technical support.
• Participate in quality assurance testing and prioritize open issues and tickets.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required, but clearance is not required on the first day.
• High school diploma or equivalent and active enrollment in a Computer Science or related bachelor's degree program, with at least 60% of required credits completed.
• Experience with Python software development and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Git, AWS or other cloud platforms, Kubernetes or other containerization technologies, and the Linux command line.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with 1–2 days per week onsite in Grapevine, TX, with flexibility for schedule changes.
• Strong problem-solving, multitasking, prioritization, and self-directed execution skills.

Nice to have

• Current Secret-level security clearance.
• Prior technical internship experience.
• Security+ certification.
