Associate Systems Engineer (Space and Defense)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, United States

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop system architectures, interface definitions, and system-level requirements for defense programs.
• Create system models, requirements models, and simulations to support solution architectures.
• Decompose requirements to component levels and lead requirements verification.
• Generate and maintain test and analysis cases with traceability to requirements.
• Support system and subsystem design, integration, and testing.
• Communicate technical information to internal program teams, customers, and suppliers, including through reports and proposal documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, software, aerospace, or systems engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in systems or design engineering; internship experience is a plus.
• Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, New York.
