is supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business with a technically focused commercial environment.
What you will do
- Prepare accurate quotations, estimates, bids, and tenders.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce manufacturing costings.
- Work with engineering, production, and commercial functions to translate customer requirements into viable manufacturing solutions.
- Develop costing models and maintain estimating processes.
- Review manufacturing, sales, and operational data to identify efficiency improvements and support business decisions.
- Support contract reviews, forecasting, planning, continuous improvement, and the transition to a new MRP/ERP system.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in estimating, costing, or a commercial role.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office capability.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative working style, and a proactive attitude.
