Risk Data Source Lead (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide; flexible work from one of the offices or remotely, with hybrid work available.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end relationship with external data vendors, including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate new and existing data sources into production.
• Coordinate delivery with Data Science, Modeling, and IT teams.
• Define and track KPIs for the data sourcing function, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve model quality.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, align priorities, and unblock delivery timelines.
• Maintain visibility into vendor costs, coverage, pipeline status, and impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing vendors and partnerships, including negotiating and managing external relationships end-to-end.
• Strong project and delivery management experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority over delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of data analytics fundamentals and the ability to define tasks for analysts and assess the potential impact of new data sources.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python, with the ability to use AI tools to work with data independently.
• English at B2 level or higher for communication with an international team.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, or economics.
• Master’s degree.
• Spanish language skills.
