Senior Software Engineer (Observability, Managed Inputs)

What you will do

• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain scalable backend ingestion features for Managed Inputs and Managed Integrations.
• Build and operate telemetry pipelines processing data from hirify.global Agents, OpenTelemetry collectors, agentless architectures, and cloud sources.
• Own projects and features from concept through delivery across the main cloud providers.
• Provide engineering support for escalated customer cases and participate in an on-call rotation of 12 hours per day for one week every 8–10 weeks.
• Monitor alerts, build SLIs and SLOs, and maintain service stability and safe deployment mechanisms.
• Review pull requests, mentor peers, and collaborate across a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Intermediate to expert-level Go skills with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Intermediate experience with observability, including tracing, metrics, logs, and profiling.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis, work autonomously, and make technical decisions in a distributed team.
• Experience with or interest in OpenTelemetry and demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Must be located in Spain.

• Experience designing high-availability services ingesting terabytes of data per day.
• Experience as an operational responder or incident commander.
• Experience with hirify.globalsearch or Kibana.
• Open-source development or community contributions.
• Experience working in fully remote teams.
