Middle Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Location: Remote from Ukraine, Poland, Romania, or Spain; availability for overlap with US business hours, preferably until 3:00 PM–4:00 PM EDT.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and related solutions in Azure.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Design and maintain data integration, ETL, and Azure-based data pipeline processes.
• Support finance, billing, reporting, analytics, and operational data systems by ensuring accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Work with Snowflake on reporting, analytics, and data management initiatives.
• Collaborate with software engineers, finance teams, and business stakeholders while resolving production issues and contributing to data architecture best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Database Engineer, Database Developer, or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server in Azure environments and experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes; Azure Data Factory or other Azure pipeline technologies are beneficial.
• Advanced English and availability for overlap with US business hours until approximately 3:00 PM–4:00 PM EDT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-working, and proactive collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, or supply chain.
• Familiarity with finance, billing, invoicing, or revenue-related processes.
• Experience supporting data-driven reporting and analytics solutions.
