IT Security Expert (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Implement and improve cyber security risk management processes, strategies, and policies.
• Monitor emerging threats, trends, regulatory requirements, and compliance with security standards.
• Support application security and embed security requirements throughout the application lifecycle.
• Perform daily security operations using SIEM, PAM, firewall, EDR, and DLP tools.
• Monitor, test, and maintain security systems; manage incidents and report relevant issues to the Management Board.
• Assess risks, define mitigation measures, oversee provider security requirements, and deliver employee security awareness training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across risk management, information security, and IT-related roles.
• University degree in a technology-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of information and cyber security principles, application security, and security management frameworks.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and software development.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, PAM, firewalls, EDR, and DLP, as well as security operations, incident management, risk assessments, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract and vendor negotiations, managed services, service continuity, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
• Professional information or cyber security certifications.
• Experience in a regulated industry or complex international organization.
• Experience developing and delivering security awareness and training programs.
