Firmware/Software Engineer, Professional II

What you will do

• Analyze, design, develop, maintain, and enhance firmware and software for embedded products and organizational systems.
• Integrate software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
• Develop, validate, and test firmware documentation and user documentation.
• Run software tests, review results, and perform root cause analysis to identify problems.
• Participate in code reviews and implement recommendations for complex technical issues.
• Upgrade existing firmware, improve technologies, and collaborate with internal, external, and customer-facing contacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience with embedded products.
• Experience or ability to work with firmware development, software testing, and hardware-software integration.
• Ability to follow established development, quality, and testing processes.
