Automation QA Middle Engineer

Location: Astana, Kazakhstan. Work format: on-site, remote, or hybrid.

What you will do

• Build and maintain high-quality automated testing systems.
• Solve complex technical challenges in software test automation.
• Develop test scripts using Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Work with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, GameBench, and TestComplete.
• Validate SQL databases, including indexes and locking mechanisms.
• Collaborate in Scrum teams and support development practices such as CI/CD, code review, static code analysis, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT experience.
• Practical programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with automated testing tools and basic experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, including indexes and locking mechanisms.
• Experience working with Scrum.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Software testing or automation certifications.
• Experience supporting development processes, including CI/CD, code review, static code analysis, and automated testing.
• Experience working across teams and multiple projects.
