Commercial Lead (Construction)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; office-based with full-time on-site work preferred

What you will do

• Lead pre-award and post-award contracting and commercial management for a large-scale mission critical data center construction project.
• Review, negotiate, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements.
• Develop change management processes and evaluate change orders and claims.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow to support commercial viability.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks while managing client, contractor, and stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports and lead contract close-out and final account negotiations.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of commercial management experience in a leadership or senior role on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with mission critical projects or data centers in Europe is preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Danish construction law, contract administration, and standard construction contract forms.
• Advanced negotiation, stakeholder management, financial analysis, reporting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required; French and Dutch are advantageous.
