Game Security Analyst - Ricochet Anti-Cheat (Call of Duty)

Location: United States hiring locations are referenced for the stated base pay range; hirify.global Central Tech also has offices in Canada, England, Ireland, and Japan.

Salary: $30.47–$56.35 hourly in the United States.

What you will do

• Investigate suspicious player accounts using gameplay telemetry, behavioral signals, and anti-cheat tools.
• Review evidence of cheating, exploitation, boosting, and other integrity violations.
• Make consistent enforcement decisions, including account bans and other disciplinary actions.
• Identify cheating patterns and emerging behaviors across the player population.
• Validate new anti-cheat detections and collaborate with engineering and data teams to reduce false positives.
• Support incident response, document investigations, and improve enforcement workflows and tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game security, trust and safety, fraud detection, player investigations, cybersecurity, or a related analytical field.
• Experience investigating anomalous behavior, abuse, fraud, policy violations, or suspicious activity.
• Experience working with large behavioral datasets and using SQL to analyze player activity.
• Experience with investigative workflows and case management systems, plus knowledge of data analysis techniques and metrics.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, documentation, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of cheating, exploitation, abuse, and competitive integrity challenges in online multiplayer games.

Nice to have

• Experience in anti-cheat operations, trust and safety, moderation, enforcement, or account review programs at scale.
• Python or scripting experience for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with machine-learning-assisted detection systems.
• Familiarity with Call of Duty gameplay systems, game telemetry, cheat distribution channels, and player behavioral analysis.
