Qt/QML Simulation HMI Software Engineer (d/m/f)

What you will do

• Gather and analyze requirements with stakeholders and customers.
• Define and architect software foundations for simulation control, instructor operating, and flight training debriefing stations.
• Design intuitive HMI interfaces using a custom Qt/QML-based GUI framework.
• Maintain the software architecture, codebase organization, system interfaces, and integration structure.
• Develop, test, maintain, debug, and improve clean and efficient software.
• Participate in agile planning, reviews, retrospectives, code reviews, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional software development experience focused on frontend and UI applications.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and the Qt/QML technology stack.
• Experience with modern DevOps pipelines, containerization, and agile software development.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, pragmatic mindset and interest in simulation.
