Investment Professional, CML Production (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; must reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza. Hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Salary: $112,000–$186,000 annually.

What you will do

• Source, underwrite, and negotiate commercial mortgage loans, real estate fund investments, and mezzanine or equity investments.
• Analyze properties, funds, markets, borrowers, business plans, exit strategies, deal structures, and financial performance.
• Build financial models, portfolio analyses, market reports, and investment recommendations for senior management.
• Support deal-term negotiations and coordinate transaction closings with internal and external legal counsel.
• Develop relationships with mortgage correspondents, brokers, fund managers, sponsors, and borrowers.
• Monitor the portfolio, perform fund-manager shadowing, maintain records, and support risk-mitigation initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of investment experience and prior commercial real estate experience.
• Knowledge of real estate underwriting and valuation, debt and equity structures, market dynamics, and legal documentation.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, communication, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and general computer software; high attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree, CFA designation, or CAIA designation.
• Strong real estate underwriting skills.
