Network Engineer (Cisco): Supporting and securing multi-site Wi-Fi networks for high-value clients with an accent on Cisco technologies, Palo firewalls, monitoring, patching, and reliable day-to-day operations. Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, including Belconnen and Brindabella Park. The role is based in ACT and requires Australian citizenship with NV1 Security Clearance.

What you will do
- Operate and support secure multi-site client Wi-Fi networks, prioritizing security, performance, and reliability.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents promptly.
- Assist with network upgrades, new-site builds, and deployments.
- Apply security improvements aligned with the ISM and Essential Eight.
- Perform patching and updates and maintain network configuration, process, and knowledge-base documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of network engineering experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco switches, routers, Wi-Fi, Palo firewalls, IPsec VPN, monitoring, and SNMP.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Experience working with the ISM and Essential Eight.
- Australian citizenship and NV1 Security Clearance are mandatory.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Palo Prisma, FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- PRTG monitoring experience.
- Exposure to Opengear OOB, BeyondTrust, AWS, Tenable, or Ekahau AI Pro.
