Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer (Radar Signal Processing)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work at least 3 days per week in Lexington, Massachusetts. Must live within 100 miles of Lexington and be a US citizen.

What you will do

• Develop and demonstrate advanced sensor-system and command-and-control concepts using emerging signal and data-processing algorithms.
• Perform modeling and simulation for RF and optical systems.
• Design and develop radar and statistical signal-processing algorithms, including detection, estimation, filtering, and Fourier-transform techniques.
• Conduct field testing, collect experimental data, and analyze results.
• Support real-time prototype implementation, hardware and software integration, experiment execution, and systems analysis.
• Present technical results and collaborate with colleagues, sponsors, and other research sites.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.
• At least 6 years of relevant systems or data-analysis experience.
• At least 6 years of experience with MATLAB, modeling and simulation, radar signal processing, statistical signal processing, detection and estimation, and data analysis.
• Experience with radar systems engineering, radar data analysis, signal processing, or statistical data analysis.
• Expertise in MATLAB, including anonymous functions, object-oriented programming, and relevant toolboxes such as phased-array tools.
• MS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with strong communication and independent-work skills.
