Manager, Quality Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6–10 Quality Engineers supporting multiple engineering teams and product initiatives.
• Own quality strategy for a significant product domain and partner with engineering, technology, product, and QE leaders.
• Provide technical and architectural leadership for test automation, frameworks, CI/CD, and testing standards.
• Define scalable quality practices and AI-assisted testing solutions, then drive their adoption across teams.
• Balance quality investment, delivery predictability, customer outcomes, and competing priorities across engineering teams.
• Influence teams to build quality earlier in the software development lifecycle while supporting organizational change.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success managing and developing a high-performing Quality Engineering team.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development, including AI-assisted test generation, model evaluation, and related skills or playbooks.
• Experience developing and scaling quality processes that improve efficiency and support organizational growth.
• Experience leading and working with distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Strong understanding of fundamental quality engineering strategies and practices.
• Ability to influence decisions on teams without direct authority and make informed tradeoffs in changing conditions.
