TL;DR

Executive Director, Asset Strategy Leadership (Biotech/AI): Defining and advancing strategic positioning for small-molecule clinical assets in oncology and immunology/inflammation with an accent on competitive differentiation, biomarker strategy, patient segmentation, and computational drug-development insights. Focus on pressure-testing asset narratives, guiding portfolio prioritization and resource allocation, and translating complex scientific and financial considerations into executive decisions.

Location: Remote, United States; periodic travel required

Annual base salary: $287,900–$356,400 in New York City, Boston, and the San Francisco Bay Area; $261,800–$314,600 in Salt Lake City and other U.S. locations. Additional annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits are available.

What you will do

Define and drive asset strategy for small-molecule clinical programs in oncology and immunology/inflammation.
Integrate competitive positioning, mechanistic differentiation, biomarker strategy, and patient segmentation into portfolio decisions.
Translate hirify.global OS, ClinTech, proprietary data, and computational insights into strategic advantages for clinical assets.
Develop and pressure-test competitive narratives to support leadership decisions, partnering discussions, and investor communications.
Partner with clinical development, business development, finance, discovery, and platform leaders on resource allocation and portfolio trade-offs.

Requirements

PhD in life sciences or a related scientific discipline.
10+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical experience with demonstrated asset-level strategic leadership.
Deep expertise in small-molecule therapeutics development for oncology and immunology/inflammation.
Experience advancing programs through clinical stage-gates and using computational, data-driven platforms for clinical decision-making.
Strong financial acumen and ability to evaluate asset valuation, resourcing, and portfolio trade-offs.
Exceptional executive presence with the ability to synthesize scientific and strategic complexity into clear recommendations.
