TL;DR
Software Integration & Test Manager (Autonomy): Leading the integration, testing, and deployment of autonomy software across unmanned aircraft and related hardware in Ukraine with an accent on software and systems integration, flight testing, and field operations. Focus on managing engineering teams, troubleshooting complex interactions across compute, networking, radios, sensors, and flight controllers, and validating capabilities through simulation, ground tests, and live flights.
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; primarily the Kyiv region with occasional travel within Ukraine. On-site.

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Autonomy Software Integration & Test Engineers.
- Set technical priorities, allocate resources, manage schedules, and deliver against operational requirements.
- Guide autonomy software development and integration across fixed-wing, multirotor, and other unmanned systems.
- Direct software bring-up, system configuration, troubleshooting, mission readiness, and deployment preparation.
- Oversee simulation, SIL, HIL, VIL, ground-test, and live flight-test activities.
- Coordinate demonstrations, operational test events, pre-flight preparation, post-flight analysis, and cross-functional integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing, integrating, or testing software for robotics, autonomy, aerospace, embedded systems, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing or leading engineering teams.
- Strong software-engineering experience with C++ and Python, plus Linux-based systems and hands-on hardware/software integration.
- Experience with field testing, flight testing, demonstrations, or operational exercises.
- Familiarity with MAVLink, PX4, ArduPilot, QGroundControl, or related unmanned-systems technologies; ability to travel within Ukraine as required.
Nice to have
- Experience leading teams supporting autonomous aircraft or unmanned systems.
- Experience with SIL, HIL, VIL, simulation, or flight-test environments.
- Familiarity with ROS, DDS, embedded systems, or real-time systems.
- Experience with flight controllers, avionics, RF communications, datalinks, or networking systems.
- Ukrainian and English language proficiency, or a background in defense, robotics, aerospace, or autonomous systems.
