What you will do
- Investigate applicantsβ finances, payment history, earnings, spending patterns, and credit reports.
- Evaluate lending risk, calculate financial ratios, and approve or deny applications within established credit criteria.
- Review and negotiate credit applications, payment terms, credit limits, and other financial transactions with dealers.
- Monitor market, dealer, and portfolio trends, reporting adverse issues and balancing portfolio quality with profitability.
- Provide prompt dealer-oriented service through phone, email, voicemail, chat, and other communication channels.
- Collaborate with Sales and other departments while maintaining strong dealership relationships.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2β5 years of relevant or progressive experience in a similar field or industry.
- Strong verbal and written English and Spanish skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel for financial reporting, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
- Availability for MondayβFriday, 9:00 a.m.β6:00 p.m. schedules, some Saturdays, overtime, holidays, and frequent dealership travel.
