Data Scientist, Experimentation (iGaming)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, United States

Salary: $98,000–$122,000 per year, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design and analyze personalization experiments for audience optimization, generosity mechanics, and generosity delivery.
• Compile experiment results and present insights and recommendations to marketing leadership.
• Advance a cross-functional experimentation program, including evaluating tools, capabilities, and automation opportunities.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques to generate business insights.
• Promote experimentation best practices across the Sportsbook organization through education and enablement initiatives.
• Collaborate with retention marketing, commercial stakeholders, marketing technology, generosity data science, and machine learning engineering.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in data science or analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or another quantitative field preferred; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience with experimental design, A/B/n testing, and statistical analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguity and solve business problems.
• Commercial acumen, clear stakeholder communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing or running experiments for personalization initiatives.
• Experience with Python, R, or SAS.
