Strategy & Operations Manager (Transit)

Location: London, with a hybrid working model

Salary: £70,000–£85,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Data Analysts.
• Own regional data strategy and quality across web and mobile products used by millions of people.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to align priorities and deliver platform improvements.
• Shape team tools, workflows, and automation in collaboration with engineers.
• Turn complex datasets into actionable insights that improve product decisions and user experience.

Requirements

• Direct experience managing and developing a team, including coaching and feedback.
• 4+ years of experience in an operational, technical, product, or cross-functional role.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and structure complex work.
• Comfort engaging with data and product problems and collaborating with technical teams.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in London.

Nice to have

• Experience working with data and Python.
• Familiarity with transit data formats such as GTFS, TransXChange, SIRI, or HAFAS.
