Training Intern (Product Safety)

Location: McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite work combining office duties with field or production environments

Salary: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with classroom and hands-on instruction on equipment operation for customer audiences.
• Help develop and update safety training course content and materials.
• Participate in course content reviews and pilot courses.
• Collect and provide customer feedback on training content.
• Research training topics and maintain materials using office and specialized software.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, safety, construction management, or a related field.
• Ability to work across office, field, and production environments.
• Ability to perform occasional physical tasks, including standing, walking across varied terrain, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to shift between detailed computer-based work and physical activities.

Nice to have

• Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience or interest in conducting training for varied audiences.
• Knowledge of JLG machines and access industry standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
