Junior/Mid Translation & Localization Specialist (Gamedev)

Location: Hybrid in Wrocław, Poland — 3 days per week in the Wrocław office and 2 days remote

Mobile game developer creating outdoor-themed experiences for a global player base, including the Fishing Clash title.

What you will do

• Create, translate, edit, and review mobile game content between English and Polish.
• Review and improve AI-assisted translations within the localization workflow.
• Plan and coordinate localization tasks and projects across game titles.
• Work with localization, product, and external vendor teams.
• Support linguistic testing, quality evaluation, and the implementation of the LQA strategy.
• Identify localization issues, advise other teams on internationalization and translation, and occasionally support surveys and playtests.

Requirements

• English proficiency at C1/C2 level.
• Excellent or native Polish proficiency.
• Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Polish.
• Good organization, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and genuine interest in games and how they are made.

Nice to have

• Experience in game localization, UX writing, or translation projects.
• Experience in UX or player research, testing, or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of additional foreign languages.
• Degree in linguistics or a related field.
• Experience with CAT tools such as Phrase, Google Workspace, Jira, or Confluence; basic programming or localization engineering skills.
