Location: Hybrid role based in the Bogotá office, Colombia

What you will do
- Support senior lawyers with day-to-day research, drafting, and legal analysis for the Global Covenants team.
- Research and help create legal intelligence covering leveraged loans, private credit, high yield bonds, liability management exercises, and event-driven analyses.
- Update covenant analyses independently as debt instruments evolve.
- Respond to subscriber inquiries and escalate complex questions to senior lawyers.
- Extract data and analyze trends using proprietary databases, AI tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Build AI-enabled workflows and support sales, marketing, events, training, and operational projects.
Requirements
- Law degree from a licensed Colombian university, or an LL.M. or J.D. from an American university.
- At least four years of post-qualification experience, ideally at an international law firm or financial institution.
- Strong fluency in English, including business and legal terminology.
- Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Intermediate fluency with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, with the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output.
Nice to have
- Experience in leveraged finance, high yield, capital markets, restructuring, credit intelligence, or credit research.
- High fluency with AI tools.
- Demonstrable interest in finance, capital markets, and related legal industries.
