Backend Developers

Location: Colombia — fully remote

Compensation: $45–$80 per hour, with hourly rates estimated from anticipated project completion time.

What you will do

• Design and implement multi-file coding tasks covering bug fixes, feature development, refactoring, migrations, and testing.
• Write clear specifications and production-quality reference implementations.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
• Review peer-generated tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment between specifications, code, and expected outputs.
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.

Requirements

• Location: Colombia and ability to work remotely.
• Advanced professional written English.
• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, plus working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.
• Production experience in backend or full-stack development, including testing frameworks and large multi-file codebases.
• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
