Technical Documentation Lead (AI)

Location: Remote or hybrid (hubs in Barcelona, Warsaw, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, Bogotá, Munich, Rome, or Bologna). Must already have the legal right to work in your country of residence.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the product knowledge model for AI assistants, ensuring facts are referenced directly from code.
• Design content structures using Markdown, YAML, or JSON that work across multiple AI assistants.
• Lead the team in transitioning from traditional article writing to a fact-checking and repository-based workflow.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Experts to capture knowledge that exists outside of the codebase.
• Establish quality standards and review loops to ensure content remains current with frequent product releases.
• Create training materials and guides to build documentation engineering skills within the team.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in technical writing, documentation engineering, or developer experience.
• Professional English (written and spoken) required.
• Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub, including managing branches and navigating large codebases.
• Experience designing content structures and standards (Markdown, YAML, JSON).
• Proven ability to teach new workflows and lead teams through organizational change.
• Must have the legal right to work in your country of residence; no visa sponsorship available.
