Pricing & Market Access Director (Biotech): Leading pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies for Vertex products in Switzerland with an accent on payer planning, value propositions, evidence generation, and pricing negotiations. Focus on localizing access strategies, developing pricing business cases, informing financial forecasts, and coordinating cross-functional decisions across commercial, clinical, medical, and public policy functions.
Location: Zug, Switzerland; hybrid work up to two days remotely per week or on-site five days per week

What you will do
- Lead pricing and market access strategies for one or more products.
- Develop payer strategies, value propositions, evidence plans, and market access deliverables.
- Execute localized access strategies, pricing business cases, and reimbursement activities in the Swiss market.
- Use market research, environmental data, analogs, and functional expertise to support recommendations and financial forecasts.
- Partner with Commercial, Development, HEOR, Government Affairs, Public Policy, Marketing, and Clinical Development teams.
- Represent the company externally and contribute to capability building and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience managing pricing and negotiations within the Swiss market.
- Established network with key local stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strategic thinking, quantitative and analytical skills, and practical knowledge of pricing, reimbursement, and HEOR principles.
- Fluent English and German required.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
