Level Designer (PC/Console, UE5)

Location: Remote worldwide; working hours are 10 AM to 7 PM (GMT+3), with possible adjustment

What you will do

• Collaborate with level designers and the game design team to develop levels according to project requirements.
• Create location blockouts and own the level creation process through finalization.
• Handle technical level setup and scripting.
• Place objects and coordinate with technical designers and developers on interactive-object scripts.
• Analyze level design in reference games and define requirements for level design tools.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5.
• Understanding of level design principles for action games, including cover placement and points of interest.
• Understanding of how game design and character abilities influence level design.
• Portfolio demonstrating level design work in professional projects, custom maps, or mods is required.
• Fluent Russian communication is required.
