Duty Supervisor (Aviation Operations)

Location: Asmara, Eritrea; onsite airport-based role

What you will do

• Plan, direct, and supervise passenger and aircraft handling operations during assigned shifts.
• Monitor safety, security, service quality, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
• Coordinate VIP, meet-and-assist, passengers with reduced mobility, and other special-category guest requirements.
• Manage disruption recovery, delays, diversions, business continuity, and emergency response activities.
• Coordinate with Guest Control, Network Control, SOC, teams, and service providers to protect guest service and operational integrity.
• Monitor ancillary sales, customer-service KPIs, on-time performance, documentation, reporting, and follow-up actions.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in service, hospitality, airline, or retail operations.
• Relevant knowledge of aviation, travel-industry, and airport policies.
• Previous supervisory experience in a high-pressure, multicultural, shift-based environment.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills with a mature, service-focused approach.
• Ability to balance guest needs and corporate interests while maintaining high safety and security standards.
• Degree-level education is desirable, or equivalent relevant industry experience and frontline service knowledge.
