What you will do
- Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for core product areas and high-impact initiatives.
- Align engineering execution with Product, Design, Business, and global stakeholders.
- Guide technical strategy, architectural planning, system design, and technical discovery.
- Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior individual contributors.
- Own hiring strategy and participate in interviewing and selection.
- Champion software quality, infrastructure reliability, performance, and sustainable technical practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- At least 5 years of experience in a full-stack environment at a large-scale, growth-oriented company, including 4+ years managing software engineering teams.
- Experience leading and scaling multiple engineering teams across concurrent workstreams.
- Deep expertise in an object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java, with hands-on .NET Framework or .NET Core experience.
- Experience deploying and maintaining high-throughput cloud systems, preferably with GCP or an equivalent platform, plus distributed systems and Kafka experience.
- Remote-first leadership experience managing distributed teams across time zones and willingness to obtain a gaming license if required.
