Fraud Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Istanbul or Sofia; hybrid setup with three in-office days and two remote days weekly after the first three months

What you will do

• Investigate ambiguous fraud cases that cannot be resolved by automation.
• Analyze behavioral and contextual signals to distinguish genuine users from fraudsters.
• Make fast decisions to act, request more information, or escalate cases.
• Protect users from suspicious activity through accurate fraud prevention decisions.
• Use empathy and clear communication in user interactions.
• Feed investigation insights back into fraud tooling to improve automation and reduce edge cases.

Requirements

• Knowledge of fraud monitoring and prevention.
• Strong attention to behavioral and contextual details.
• User-focused mindset, empathy, and an understanding of how to protect user interests.
• Comfort using AI tools and recognizing when AI-based tools are used against the company.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Istanbul or Sofia, including three weekly in-office days after the first three months.
