Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain business-critical frontend and backend applications for BMG treasury and transaction banking platforms.
• Build APIs, integration services, and user-facing functionality for liquidity and information management solutions.
• Own services from development through production, including monitoring, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
• Improve observability, reliability, automation, code quality, and operational resilience.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical design, platform modernization, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a JVM language and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Java 21, Spring Boot 4.x, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, REST or gRPC APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, accessibility, and UI frameworks such as Lit-HTML, Angular, React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, JMS, Kafka, relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle, and data-intensive operations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Confluence, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, HTTP, messaging, RPCs, Domain-Driven Design, and architecture patterns.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, BDD frameworks, and Playwright.
• Advanced English, strong analytical and communication skills, stakeholder management experience, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant analytical field.

Nice to have

• Performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.
• Application metrics, monitoring, alerting, profiling, and Elastic Stack experience.
• IT security knowledge or experience with Kotlin and other JVM languages.
