General Manager - Africa (Crypto)

Location: EMEA; travel as needed

What you will do

• Lead growth, revenue, affiliate partnerships, VIP services, and market expansion across Africa.
• Build and scale an affiliate programme, optimize conversion funnels, and improve VIP retention.
• Develop business strategies, partnerships, campaigns, and digital asset initiatives.
• Translate strategy into measurable plans with market KPIs and revenue deliverables.
• Work with legal, compliance, and risk teams on governance, licensing strategies, and regulatory liaison.
• Recruit and lead a commercial team covering affiliate management, business development, and VIP servicing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience at a top-tier crypto exchange, fintech, or trading platform.
• Experience working with government authorities and regulators in the region, including licensing, supervisory reporting, and compliance matters.
• Strong knowledge of OJK regulations, AML/CFT, data protection, and VASP-related frameworks.
• Hands-on experience leading licensing applications or acquisitions in heavily regulated markets.
• Experience delivering multi-million-dollar monthly revenue growth through business development and affiliate acquisition.
• Experience owning P&L, setting market KPIs, exceeding growth targets, and willingness to travel as needed.
