Data Scientist Compliance (AI)

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid working

Salary: €6,378–€8,504 per month based on 36 hours

What you will do

• Design, build, and continuously improve data analyses, dashboards, and AI-driven solutions for Compliance risk identification and decision-making.
• Work with complex data, assumptions, and models to create robust, explainable, and practical solutions.
• Own data and AI solutions end to end, including production delivery, maintenance, refactoring, monitoring, and technical debt reduction.
• Apply responsible AI principles, including AI Act classification, AI risk assessments, and control documentation.
• Translate Compliance challenges into analytical and AI solutions and deliver them with engineers and analysts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative or IT-focused discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Python and building, deploying, and operating ML or AI applications.
• Experience with end-to-end data and AI solution ownership, production operations, monitoring, and technical debt reduction.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for working with Compliance colleagues and end users.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, data preparation, and deployment.
