Senior IT Generalist (Microsoft 365)

Location: On-site 5 days per week in Etobicoke, Ontario (Toronto Airport area), with occasional travel between Ontario sites

Salary: CA$90,000–CA$120,000 base annually plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2/3 support and administration for Epicor Prophet 21, Salesforce, SQL-based business systems, and internal quote-generation tools.
• Manage network infrastructure, including switching, wireless, VPN, servers, virtualization, backups, DNS, and DHCP across multiple sites.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID, access policies, compliance controls, and SaaS licences.
• Operate security and voice platforms, including Microsoft Defender, Secure Score policies, Teams Phone, Direct Routing, call queues, auto attendants, and E911.
• Lead IT projects and system upgrades from planning through rollout, including vendor decisions, UAT, documentation, and business adoption.
• Act as the internal technical lead and escalation point for the external MSP, while governing AI tools and automation safely.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure roles at a senior level.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Conditional Access, DLP, sensitivity labels, Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Hands-on ERP administration experience covering users, roles, module setup, master data, upgrades, and UAT; Epicor Prophet 21 or similar is required.
• Experience managing networks, servers, virtualization, backup and recovery, security operations, and Microsoft Teams Phone.
• Experience leading IT projects, managing vendors or MSP relationships, and administering SaaS licences and renewals.
• Practical experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, SQL queries, and technical documentation such as runbooks, diagrams, and change logs.

Nice to have

• Salesforce administration experience.
• Ubiquiti UniFi networking experience.
• Azure governance and cost management, Fivetran, or Azure Data Factory experience.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or multi-site operations.
• MS-102, AZ-104, CCNA, or Security+ certification.
