Technical Manager, PU Elastomers APAC

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of mostly customer-related development projects in line with business strategy.
• Design, coordinate, and execute development programs for new technologies, applications, and value propositions.
• Define customer requirements and establish experimental programs to address them.
• Lead and develop a technical team working across Elastomers projects and support customer trials.
• Identify and develop technology platforms, while coordinating intellectual property and patentability reviews.
• Integrate project delivery with marketing and commercialization teams and transfer technology support to other regions.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of professional experience, preferably in product formulation for ACE and Footwear.
• Expert knowledge in one technology area and working knowledge of other technology and application areas.
• Managerial, leadership, supervision, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Good written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
