Compliance Manager & Senior Compliance Specialist

An e-commerce company expanding its delivery and cross-border shopping services in Taiwan.

What you will do

• Lead the Product Compliance Cleanup Team and oversee end-to-end cleanup strategies for onboarded products.
• Define compliance frameworks and standards covering product content integrity, import and manufacturing legitimacy, and vendor qualification.
• Assess complex regulatory risks and prioritize limited headcount and resources to address violations within strict timelines.
• Develop efficient workflows and AI-assisted automation for large-scale compliance operations.
• Align Business Management, Fulfillment Centers, Legal, and Product Policy stakeholders to resolve compliance bottlenecks and protect brand reputation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Food Regulatory Affairs, including food ingredient restrictions, permitted uses, and advertising claim regulations.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for medicine, medical devices, and cosmetics, including medical efficacy definitions and false or exaggerated advertising.
• Experience assessing borderline product categories and distinguishing general merchandise, cosmetics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Strong stakeholder communication, analytical reasoning, project tracking, documentation, prioritization, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating with regulatory authorities to mitigate non-compliance concerns.
• Proficiency with Excel VBA for data analysis.
• Experience using Gemini for large-scale data processing and workflow automation.
