Legal Counsel – Global Operations (Semiconductor): Supporting the legal infrastructure for global subsidiary governance, cross-border operations, employment matters, and compliance across a growing semiconductor company with an accent on Asia-Pacific business partnership and multinational workforce support. Focus on coordinating local-law advice, building scalable legal processes, managing post-acquisition integration, and providing practical guidance across corporate, HR, finance, tax, and compliance functions.
Location: Taipei, Taiwan; proof of the right to work in Taiwan is required

Develops low-power programmable logic semiconductor products, system solutions, design services, and licenses for communications, computing, industrial, automotive, and consumer markets.
What you will do
- Partner with business and functional leaders across Asia-Pacific on practical legal solutions and emerging risks.
- Support subsidiary governance, board and shareholder approvals, corporate records, appointments, powers of attorney, statutory filings, and legal entity management.
- Advise on cross-border operations, international mobility, business travel, remote work arrangements, and global workforce expansion.
- Support employment and HR matters, including agreements, onboarding, accommodations, investigations, leave, restructurings, and separations.
- Coordinate outside counsel and local-law advice across multiple jurisdictions.
- Build scalable legal processes, templates, playbooks, and governance frameworks while supporting compliance and post-acquisition integration.
Requirements
- Applicable legal education and license to practice law.
- 3–8 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal role supporting multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, subsidiary governance, corporate secretarial work, and legal entity management.
- Significant experience with employment law, HR-related matters, and global workforce management.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Right to work in Taiwan is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with U.S.-listed public companies or multinational public-company clients.
- Experience in semiconductor, technology, software, electronics, manufacturing, or engineering organizations.
- Experience with import/export compliance, sanctions, post-acquisition integration, or international workforce expansion.
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
