Salary: $236,700–$309,025 in United States Zone A; other United States pay zones range from $196,461 to $278,123 depending on location.

What you will do

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and sophisticated models for hirify.global products and services.
• Build AI capabilities including agentic search and chat, long-horizon agents, and features enriching the Teamwork Graph.
• Design system and model architectures and lead experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and scaling.
• Translate customer and business needs into practical machine learning solutions with product, engineering, and analytics teams.
• Shape AI strategy and provide technical mentorship to machine learning engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least five years of relevant industry experience in machine learning, data science, or a related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python and one or more production languages such as Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Spark and cloud-based data environments such as AWS or Databricks.
• Experience building, deploying, and scaling machine learning models with large, complex datasets.
• Strong communication skills, pragmatic business judgment, and an agile, iterative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience fine-tuning, post-training, and optimizing large language, embedding, and ranking models.
• Experience developing and evaluating advanced agentic AI systems with planning, multi-step reasoning, and autonomous task execution.
• Experience in consumer or B2C, SaaS, enterprise, or B2B products.
• Experience solving ambiguous and complex problems under uncertainty.
