Industrial Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Malta, New York, USA; telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic location as the assigned office

Salary: $101,421–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Design systems, processes, equipment layouts, workflow plans, and capacity tools for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Develop throughput optimization models, complex analytical calculators, and long-term modeling indices.
• Evaluate equipment and worker productivity, production flow, bottlenecks, waste, delays, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain equipment indices, specifications, capacity metrics, and model validity.
• Establish accident-prevention measures and training programs for production personnel.
• Collaborate on additional projects while supporting environmental, health, safety, and security programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the offered role or a related engineering position.
• Experience with semiconductor processes including SWD, DIFF, and IMP.
• Experience with JMP data analytics, Power BI, throughput optimization, batch factor analysis, equipment productivity, and cycle time analysis.
• Experience with long-term modeling, obsolescence maintenance, and specification maintenance.
• Must work within the same geographic location as the assigned hirify.global office; telecommuting is permitted less than 50% per week.
