SVP, Product (AI)

What you will do

• Define and own the AI product strategy across the marketplace, talent and client experiences, internal systems, and market-facing products.
• Lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, investment allocation, and operating model for the full product portfolio.
• Set standards for AI quality through evaluation systems, acceptance criteria, review loops, and measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering on the platform, data and AI infrastructure, product integrations, and new product development.
• Own product organization design, workforce planning, hiring, leadership development, and performance standards.
• Build and launch AI-enabled capabilities, including agentic products, while establishing evidence-based product decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada or Europe and able to work remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a technical discipline is preferred, and a master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• At least 15 years of software product management experience and 8 years leading product organizations, including product leaders.
• Experience owning a full product portfolio at a high-growth technology company and setting executive-level strategy across multiple teams and domains.
• Hands-on experience shipping AI-enabled products, including agentic architectures, orchestration, retrieval, context engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and production model economics.
• Strong data analysis, user research, growth marketing, communication, hiring, workforce planning, and agile collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketplace, platform, or two-sided business models.
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer.
• Master’s degree in a technical discipline.

Hiring process

• The first weeks and months focus on understanding the organization, building executive relationships, assessing product and AI maturity, and presenting an independent product strategy.
• Within the first three months, the role is expected to own the roadmap and have at least one measured AI-enabled capability in production.
