USAC Apps IT Portfolio Manager

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota, or a USAC manufacturing location at least 4 days per week. Up to 5% domestic travel. Relocation assistance is not authorized.

Salary: $164,612–$201,193 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle, health, technical debt, maintenance, compliance planning, and cost to serve of the USAC applications portfolio.
• Set short- and medium-term IT strategy, operating plans, technology standards, and processes.
• Manage IT-related spending, prioritize projects, and allocate organizational resources.
• Supervise a team aligned with the portfolio focus area and provide direction across projects and initiatives.
• Lead, approve, and sponsor IT improvement activities and projects.
• Communicate with leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and functional leaders to secure alignment and change acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7 years of experience in IT or supply chain; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED or higher and 10 years of experience in IT or a technical role.
• Experience planning and managing multiple IT activities, resources, policies, and application portfolios.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and project-planning skills.
• Ability to manage diverse applications using different technologies and maintain effective working relationships remotely.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• The role requires working at the Maplewood office or a USAC manufacturing location at least 4 days per week.
