What you will do
- Represent and sell publisher titles to bookstore customers across the assigned New England territory.
- Develop new accounts, grow key-account business, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Present seasonal frontlist titles and promote backlist, fast-moving, and opportunity titles.
- Support in-store promotions, co-op advertising, inventory control, and sales forecasting.
- Coordinate with publishers, marketing, management, and internal teams to recommend titles, programs, and services.
- Resolve customer questions and complaints while providing market, competitive, pricing, and supply information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent year-for-year experience.
- At least 3 years of sales or book-industry experience.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with bookstore accounts.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
