Data Science Intern (2027)

Location: Based in Figma's San Francisco or New York hub office; in-person onboarding required

Salary: $46 per hour, plus a housing stipend and travel reimbursement

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to translate business questions into data problems.
• Evaluate experiments and surface metrics that guide product decisions.
• Build models to understand user behavior and predict growth.
• Design scalable data pipelines and tools that make product data more accessible.
• Work across analytics, experimentation, or data infrastructure based on strengths and interests.

Requirements

• Experience with Python or a similar scripting language and SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods or data systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with data infrastructure concepts or large-scale data pipelines.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco or New York hub office and attend in-person onboarding.
