Junior AI Engineer (Agentic SDLC Workflows)

Location: Košice, Slovakia. Remote work is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: Negotiable base salary from €2,000 gross per month, depending on seniority and previous experience, plus a variable component and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Build reusable AI-assisted workflows for repository analysis, code scanning, service decomposition, dependency discovery, build diagnosis, and documentation generation.
• Package prompts, tools, retrieval layers, model routing, evaluation checks, retries, and human approval steps into repeatable engineering accelerators.
• Integrate workflows with Git platforms, CI/CD systems, documentation stores, issue trackers, test outputs, service catalogues, and architecture evidence repositories.
• Create auditable outputs with traceable source references, confidence indicators, reviewer checkpoints, and explicit assumptions.
• Evaluate open-source, open-weight, Chinese, and enterprise-hosted coding models for SDLC automation and handover tasks.
• Translate ambiguous engineering questions into structured AI-assisted workflows and validated deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or MLOps, with strong Kubernetes and Linux expertise.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, model serving, private or on-premises deployments, and production operations for LLM-based workloads.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, access control, monitoring, operational hardening, CI/CD, Git workflows, and software architecture documentation.
• Experience with APIs, orchestration frameworks, RAG patterns, tool calling, evaluation loops, and maintainable workflow design.
• English proficiency of at least B2 and availability to work from Slovakia.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, LlamaIndex Workflows, Semantic Kernel, or comparable orchestration stacks.
• Experience with Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Continue, Cline, Aider, or VS Code-compatible assistants.
• Knowledge of vector databases, graph stores, code indexing, OpenAPI wrappers, GitLab/GitHub APIs, Jenkins APIs, observability, and evaluation dashboards.
