Nordic Country Controller

What you will do

• Coordinate statutory reporting, compliance, and controllership activities across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.
• Coordinate statutory audits, auditor requests, supporting documentation, and annual financial statement submissions.
• Partner with Tax, Legal, the Shared Service Center, external auditors, and business stakeholders on regulatory and reporting matters.
• Monitor tax authority correspondence, tax audits, regulatory inquiries, statutory filings, and legal entity compliance.
• Perform monthly general ledger reviews, balance sheet analyses, reconciliations, and financial statement variance assessments.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and drive continuous improvement in controllership processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, audit coordination, or a related finance function.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience working with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, including Nordic accounting and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple countries and stakeholder groups.
• Fluent English, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

• Experience in a multinational corporate environment with regional or global responsibilities.
• Familiarity with Nordic tax regulations and local GAAP.
• Experience supporting statutory audits, annual financial statements, and regulatory compliance processes.
