Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Remote, United States; travel required at 10–15%

Salary: $99,750–115,500 per year

What you will do

• Prepare structural calculations and construction documents for quality-compliant deliverables.
• Design lateral and gravity systems and develop details for concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures.
• Provide modeling and drafting direction, review personal work, and present technical options.
• Plan and execute project sprint activities, estimate task effort, and communicate roadblocks.
• Manage construction administration activities, including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, CA logs, and site visits.
• Coordinate with clients, technical staff, consultants, and project teams while contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design.
• Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame structures.
• Ability to independently coordinate with clients and provide clear calculations, drawings, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Experience across different materials, markets, and project types.
