Tax Manager 1

Location: Kilkenny, Ireland; flexible hybrid working. The role includes the ability to work abroad for up to 3 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Review corporate tax returns, tax provisions, tax assessments, VAT returns, and other indirect tax compliance obligations.
• Review DAC6 cross-border arrangement assessments and related reporting.
• Serve as a key contact for external tax advisers, auditors, tax authorities, clients, and service providers.
• Manage tax filing records and deadlines for client entities, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
• Lead jurisdictional tax matters, support new tax service opportunities, and drive process improvement and risk management.
• Line manage, coach, and support the professional development of the tax team.

Requirements

• Experience reviewing corporate tax, VAT, indirect tax, and DAC6 compliance work.
• Knowledge of Irish and international tax matters.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, advisers, auditors, tax authorities, and service providers.
• Experience leading or supporting teams, coaching colleagues, and improving processes.
• Ability to manage compliance records, risks, and filing deadlines accurately.
